3. Alternate Nostril Breathing
Alternate Nostril Breathing, or Nadi Shodhana, is a balancing breathing technique that harmonizes the left and right sides of your brain. Sit comfortably with your spine erect. Use your right thumb to close your right nostril and inhale deeply through your left nostril. Close your left nostril with your right ring finger and exhale through your right nostril. Inhale through the right nostril, close it, and exhale through the left. Continue this pattern for several minutes to promote balance and vitality.
